Dietary feed for calves
Indication: Stabilization of the water and electrolyte balance to support the physiological digestion at risk of, during periods of or recovery from digestive disorders (diarrhea).
Properties: Tasty due to sweeteners and aroma. The product turns orange when the solution is warmer than 30°C. The bottle or bucket with the solution thus remain recognizable.
Composition: Dextrose, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Pectin, Brewer’s Yeast. Additives: Zootechnical additives per kg: Bacillus licheniformis (DSM 5749) / Bacillus subtilis 1,300 MCFU (DSM 5750) (1: 1) (4b1700i / E1700), E. faecium NCIMB 10415 (4b1705) 1,400 MCFU.
Directions for use: Dosage: 50 g / L water or milk (for mild diarrhea). Orange Pect should be fed to calves for 1 to 7 days in case of risk of digestive disorders, during and after those disorders. For calves of approx. 50 kg: mix 100 g Pect Orange with 2 L. The temperature of the solution should be between 35°C and 40°C at the time of application. For larger or severely dehydrated calves, mix 150 g Pect Orange with 3 L.
Notes: Before using or extending the useful life, consult a veterinarian. The beta-carotene particles dissolve well from 30°C and are a good indication for temperature.
